A bit noisy, hard cables. Mod fan!

available If you are experienced with computer hardware, you may know that a computer is not inherently very noisy unless it is dusty, cheap or heavily used. This power supply makes a noise that I wouldn't call "annoying," but it's definitely there. It's like the sound of a tower fan in your room which is quite old; it's not annoying, but it's not soothing like white or brown noise. Aside from the noise, the cables are sturdy. I haven't built it into my ITX case yet, but using this PSU as a desktop PSU isn't exactly easy. I will be converting a Noctua 4x10 FLX into this power supply and will provide an update within a month. UPDATE 9/9/20 After replacing the fan, the cooling seems fine (despite the cubic foot difference in the fans). There are 5 screws: 4 side screws (a warranty screw) and 1 screw under the version sticker (there was one in my kit). With the 12V FLX Noctua 4X10 variant I was able to replace the fan. Another thing to note is that the stock fan seems to be stuck to the metal fan grill plate (apart from the 2 screws holding the fan) - I had to break the fan to get it off. It's not 100% silent, but it's MUCH more tolerable and almost silent just a foot from the power source. Will be updated again if overheating issues occur. UPDATE 8/28/21 (almost a year of use) I've had no issues with overheating, power outages or noise complaints in my case.
