I love that this allows me to help with weaving and also looking at shades and tones of color and gray and white - I study colors like an adult - pay particular attention to fabrics - and I've heard that the red acrylic "lens" was helpful. It turned out to be a lot more useful than I thought - and I use it to look at many different "mediums" - inks, paints, fabrics, glass (art) - and even room decor - carpets, floors - chairs. It's amazing how the tones that I couldn't see without them (I use red mainly because I understand it better) are part of the design I like and help me understand what "stands out" and "what the colors are not". first found to be "useful for my design" and then they turn out to be so, which makes my weaving (in my opinion, of course) special.
