Not as wide as most standard (foreign) plastic or corn brooms, but it also means it fits into small spaces. Triple stitched on top unlike all the others that only have double stitched. Works like a broom. It is very expensive compared to other brands but this one is made in the USA which is VERY hard to find, especially these basic household items. Rubbermaid (an American company) sells them for a little over half the price, but they're made in Mexico. Whisks should last for many years, so why not go broke and buy American ones and let your neighbors do the work? I wish there were more locally made products, but that's not going to happen any time soon, so I'll support them when reasonably possible. Recommended.
