We bought an old camper and unfortunately had to take it down to the popsicle sticks and staples it’s made of. Putting it back together, we skinned it with thin plywood. It was just 2x2 framing, insulation, and aluminum siding. When we put the aluminum siding back on, the plywood skin gave us a bigger gap at the corners to cover than was originally there, so we needed something bigger than the original 5/8 corner trim. To install, we made relief cuts at the corners, and then tapped this into shape. Worked great and we are quite happy. Note, it really doesn’t bend without the relief cuts.
