Okay I have NEVER cut a rug and my FIRST FOUR CUTS were absolutely perfect and I used the rug on the first try. (Pictures are attached). ANYONE who has negative feedback must have done it wrong. or there wasn't enough patience and foresight to keep things moving. I drew 4 lines on the back of my rug, taped a LONG ruler to my rug (cut the rug 16x20), trimmed the rug a bit at the corners so the cut points overlap a little, and only required ONE cut per side ! The blades are amazingly sharp. PLACE TWO SHEETS OF CARDBOARD on the table or floor. To a reviewer who initiates a lawsuit with this seller, be ashamed that you are not prepared and careful. Who doesn't protect their floors?!? 🤦🏻‍♀️ It took exactly four cuts for my four cuts. Love it! I went to Michaels and asked how much they charge for it: $55.85 per picture for the carpet ONLY and I had 3 pictures. So I bought this carpet cutter and two carpet boards for $11. What a saving! Buy it, cook it, make it yourself, be patient, cover the ruler with tape and you won't regret it! (I am categorical because I read so many negative reviews and they almost put me off buying.).
