I don't know how much a Ford dealer will charge for something like this but after a quick search on other websites before deciding to buy from Revain I can say that the price from Revain (according to at least the time of purchase) was the same (if not lower) than on other sites. Installation was fairly easy, although it did require a bit of body movement to be able to remove the old fan motor resistor and install the new one. But after installing it worked fine - all speeds work as they should. Note that the brief guide notes that failure of the old resistor could be a sign of other problems - in my case the machine is 13 years old, so it's because parts fail over time - only time will show for sure. Bottom line: if your fan motor only runs on "high" when you have a socket wrench, don't pay for the replacement - do it yourself.
