My boat has been in a run down state for 9 years. I had stains on the gelcoat from lichen and moss growing on it while sitting in the yard. I have tried everything to remove the stains. I've used toilet bowl cleaner, high-end boat cleaner, purple power cleaner, and lots of elbow grease but couldn't get the stains out. Another person suggested wet sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper. I have no idea how to wet the sand. So, I read the thread on the forum. I started researching a recommended stain removal product and came across White Knight. Holy Moly, I'm glad I did! It's literally as easy as it says. Apply and wait 15 minutes, then spray. You can watch the spots disappear before your eyes. Follow the instructions on T and you will be amazed. I have yet to clean it with gelcoat cleaner and then wax but now the stains are gone and it looks brand new. Here are some before and after photos for comparison.
