This made it work like a factory actuator. I only had to do it twice. So don't be like me! During initial installation, I tried to push firmly on the yellow latch that hooks onto the bar connecting it to the outside door handle so that it latches and stays closed. Don't do this because I accidentally bent the metal that the tab attaches to. So when I closed the door after putting everything back together, I couldn't open the door from the outside or the inside. Doh! Fortunately, you can remove the inner door panel when the door is closed. I did this and after a bit of research I found that I had bent the metal and straightened it out again. Now everything works great! Moral of the story: Be sure to squeeze the tongue so it snaps into place, and don't push down like I did. It's difficult to push when everything is in place, but it's possible.
