Bought this tester to troubleshoot Christmas lights. I had several strings of lights and only half the bulbs lit up. There were too many lightbulbs to use the old method of changing one lightbulb at a time. After seeing a method of testing lamps with an AC tester on You Tube, I bought an HT100 tester. It took about 15 minutes to isolate the broken bulb in each string of lights. Very cool. The tester is well built, works great, and costs about the same as 2 bites of Christmas tree lights. I've had several fairy lights so I think they've paid off and I have them around the house for future use.
