Appearance: Standard AC filter appearance. All white with beautifully colored support wiring. As for the filters, this is a beautiful set! Installation: It's as simple as opening the AC filter vents, removing the old one, and installing this one. Close the vent and enjoy clean air. Thoughts: Regular maintenance of AC filters extends the life of your system by preventing dirty air from entering the system and causing fouling or wear over time. These are MERV 13 filters, one of the best at a reasonable price for home systems. This blocks almost everything, including pollen, which is why we like them. I've had it installed for about a month now and am very happy with the performance. Overall: Great filters - block pollen and other small particles.
