It's hard to know how to rate this. On the one hand, the pearls themselves are very charming! They definitely look like the beads shown in the promotional photo. By that I mean they are made of wood, not plastic or resin like many other vendors. They fit the promised size (though if you don't already realize how small the 28mm really is, you might be disappointed with the size as the photos are zoomed in quite close, making them look larger). I totally understand why the seller took the picture there. I'm certainly not suggesting that zooming in to see detail is fallacious. I do this with my own work. Just note it for the consumer's consideration. I work with 26mm wooden beads very often, so I had a rough size estimate in mind to compare what to expect. For reference, they are slightly larger. Almost imperceptibly more than this. Now for the cons: As you can see, I didn't get 48 pearls. I think I got 43 (I did the math but don't remember the exact number, not 48.) The attached photo is exactly what I got. You can also see right away that there was a significant color imbalance. I have more shades of blue than other colors. I suspect it might work in your favor if you get most of the colors you like the most, but I'm out of luck. I bought them specifically for white, light pink and dark purple. While I got a fair amount of light pink, I only got a few white and purple ones. 🥺 For this reason I haven't used them yet. I just couldn't get enough of the required colors to do what I originally set out to do. I've also noticed that some of the beads have odd placements and/or "hole size mismatch" (where the hole isn't big enough to pull string/thread/elastic through one or both sides). with wooden beads. You will almost always have several rejects, regardless of the manufacturer, supplier or type of wood. It just annoyed me that the few I've noticed so far were colors I'm already missing. Yes of course?! lol 🤦♀️ Is it a good product overall? Yes. That! I can definitely endorse it for casual crafts where very specific color schemes don't matter to you. It would be fun to make colorful garlands out of wood or mixed textures (wool, cotton, crystals, wood). If you have projects that involve using glue or otherwise sticking on some weird balls with wobbly drill holes, this will further reduce bead waste. . Would I buy again? Uh, it depends. I'm currently reviewing the koala beads 🐨 sold by this seller as I don't have any specific color requirements for them. But I wouldn't do that and again expect an even amount of each color. or even an even number of beads.
