Excellent printer, period

I am very happy to have this printer. I have an FDM printer and now I can compare resin to FDM and its practical (and fun) uses - it's really cool. First of all, this printer does not disappoint. Good desktop printer. Easy setup and usability. Please see my attached video to see the unboxing of the Anycubic Photon Mono showing the size and each item included in the box. All you need is resin to start printing. The Slice software is downloaded onto the included USB stick. However, I found a newer version on the Anycubic website and recommend downloading and installing the latest version from there. Pros: - Convenient desktop size - Light weight and easy to move when needed - Beautiful appearance. I think it's great that I can see everything around me even with UV protection. - Quiet printing - Fast printing speed with excellent results - Clear LCD touchscreen with large buttons and easy operation. I ended up turning off the beep which is set by default for each click. - The build plate is beveled on each side, which helps the resin flow back into the tank and makes cleaning easier. - The assemblies adhere well to the mounting plate. Cons: - Some have already mentioned it. Tray for resin plastic. It would be nice to have a metal container and I think there are some third party manufacturers on the market that I might consider in the future. - The FEP screen is proprietary. You will end up having to replace the entire floor if you need to replace the FEP film. Final Thoughts: Although the tub is plastic, this hasn't detracted from the excellent quality of the prints. The printer can print the same object as my FDM printer in less than half the time and with higher quality. It would be nice to have a bigger build platform, but it makes sense that different sizes cost more or less money. I'm happy with the price of this device for the size of objects it can create. This printer is a great entry-level printer or a good addition to any 3D printer farm. Note: There are many ways to build a do-it-yourself rinse and pickle station. However, I chose the Anycubic Wash and Cure Station. It takes up almost as much space as the printer. I'm very glad I invested over $40 in this station that I would have spent on a DIY setup. It is easy to use, convenient and works very well. You can find my review of this under the item description.
