The best way to fix leaks is with valve cover gasket kits
I think all Dakotas come from the factory with leaking valve covers. The pads that came out are definitely not the same quality as the ones that came out. The pads are a lot thicker, nice and blue, so blue you can see you've changed them every time you open the hood.
