PetSmart has similar models for $30-40. This is a very good size for parrots and the like. Budgies have a bit of a hard time with a big yellow perch on top, but they enjoy every other aspect of it. The bell, I'm not at all sure what it's made of, I knew it came with copper, but the bell I received wasn't copper at all, I can't identify the metal, so I have it kept off the hook. Instead I have a handmade cigar made out of paper towels (made from timmothy seed/hay) which my birds love way more than any bluebell lol. (used some millet first to lure her there). I installed a rope bar at the front of the playset, I didn't want my birds hanging from behind but positioned them in front to interact with them. From what I saw there was some slight bleed of the dye, I'm pretty sure it was made with food grade dye. By the way, your parrot gets more of this in its body if you buy colored pellets -_-
