So I bought this Koramzi after Mediasonic Homeworx HDMI gave me problems. the difference in the position of the buttons. HDMI initially gave me trouble, the Koramzi splash screen appears once, then the unit's LCD just shows ---- and there is no HDMI output. I then connected an RCA video source and was able to do an initial scan and adjust, after that try connecting to HDMI again, it works. As others have noted, the top of this unit is fully enclosed so there is no ventilation and it gets warm.
