They really dry out my hair and scalp and make my hair frizzy - it also took an incredible amount of work for my scalp/roots to heal compared to my usual high end products feel clean. Shampoos (or even similarly priced shampoos like the gentle line from Kristin Ess). I also found that I bought this one and is missing the leave-in spray and packaging for both. The shampoo bottle doesn't open fully/correctly making it a bit messy and the pump on the spray sticks is horribly sticky and difficult to use. I understand that they need to take certain measures to save costs and that's not a crucial factor, but the products also need to work. a bit like cleansing products) but I never get dandruff and my scalp is flaky and itchy and my hair is very frizzy. I was working in a large retail store when they first started selling Verb so I've tried most of their shampoos and conditioners and to me they are all a get what you pay for product. They are also significantly thinner/diluted than regular salon shampoo. If you're used to drugstore shampoo, this is a nice upgrade at a price that's not too cheap. If you're used to salon quality and just want to save some money, this isn't it. I know he has some kind of cult following, but it didn't work for me. I'll keep it in my rotation for now (I'm always rotating between multiple options) but if my scalp is itchy or my hair keeps getting frizzy I'll probably try to give it away or throw it away. [For reference, since there are so many different hair types, this is only helpful if yours share some similarities: I have thick, finely textured, healthy/neat, slightly wavy, shoulder-length hair that hasn't been colored or chemically treated - but it has is heavily stylized for the heat. My hair doesn't usually like high protein foods. I wash them every other day and use a comb to spread the oil.
