Review on Gamepad Microsoft Xbox One Controller, white by Duong Edward Nguyen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Prior to that, I experimented with a wide variety of gamepads, so I had something to base my comparisons on. The construction quality is acceptable here. At first, it seemed strange in my hands, especially in comparison to traditional joysticks, in which the sticks are arranged in a symmetrical pattern (logitech f310, rumblepad, controller). However, I quickly adjusted to it, and now my preferred method of control is to use the asymmetric stick with my left hand. In fact, I don't even use the D-pad in platformers, which is the type of game in which it seems she would have an advantage. The fact that it also functions well with Windows 10 is, of course, the icing on the cake. The cable instantly recognizes the gamepad, so you can start using it as soon as it's connected. After waiting a month, I purchased a USB Bluetooth Dongle version 4.0, installed it into the computer, and then inserted two AA Eneloop batteries into the joystick. After that, everything worked properly, and you are able to play the game without a wire. Despite the fact that I played games in which it would immediately draw my attention, it functions faultlessly when connected via bluetooth. I did not experience any delays or lags. Satisfied. There is no xinput, which means that the joystick was designed for the console and was not thought to work with a PC. However, you are able to play the game through emulations or without xinput; however, the delay is slightly increased as a result of this. Initially, I wanted to take control of the situation, but two things dissuaded me from doing so. The second problem is the lithium-ion battery that is incorporated right into the device; it runs out of power very rapidly. This is the most significant drawback. And the beauty of the Xbox is that the batteries last a very long time, and even if they do run out of power, I can just swap them out for two more eneloop batteries and get back into the fight.

Cons
  • When compared to the Logitech F310, the crosspiece is of inferior quality (although it is also not ideal there). I’m not particularly worried about the cross, because I have an arcade stick for playing fighting games, BUT if you want to play fighting games on it, don’t take it, otherwise you will regret it. It functions in a manner that is highly unpleasant while moving in diagonal directions, but it works very well when moving in the traditional directions of up, down, left, and right.
