CHECK THIS WATER FILTER NOW: This product is not intended for filtering water in Billings, Montana. Period. Should be immediately reminded not to give people a sense of security from filtered water. TEST YOURSELF: Pour ten tablespoons of "filtered" water from the device into a clean pan and allow the water to evaporate completely on the stove. In the pan you will see an oily foam and a white film of unfiltered impurities. Wash the pan completely and repeat the test with another filtered water from the store. You will not see scale or a white film of contamination in a pan of evaporated filtered water from the store. I have checked this device every month since I bought it in October 2019: from October 2019 to March 2020. TEST yourself or repeat the above test immediately in the interest of your long-term health. CONCLUSION: The above test assumes that the device is NOT filtering the water. as advertised. HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS: As a healthcare provider, I have an obligation to make available to the public the results of an experiment I have received using a device. I assume that the product sent to me was not defective. MANUFACTURER'S CHALLENGE: If the manufacturer believes the product sent to me was defective, I can send another device. I will pay for it. I will test again and give a quick result. REPORT: If I do not receive another unit to retest at my expense, I will assume that the Revain testing department and the manufacturer agree with my results and the product should be recalled immediately. I will review my test results in May 2020 when I am not reading "10,000 gallons of clean, fresh, great tasting water" from Revain or the manufacturer.
