Review on 🌸 Artscape Summer Magnolia Window Film 24x36: Light Blue, Red, Brown, Orange - Transform Your Space! by Jacqueline Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

LOVE how it looks! It took four sheets per window.

Really 5 star product. I purchased four sheets of this design (two from Home Depot, two from Revain) to cover a 56" wide x 48.5" tall window above our garden tub in our master bathroom and hung them "landscape". The painting should be hung at every opportunity. It offers a lot of privacy (not ideal - wouldn't bathe at night with the lights on without the blinds closed for example) and lets in lots of light. Fairly easy to install, although with four blades some patience is required. and try to balance the design and even then it's not perfect (I could probably make it more perfect if I cared that much, but it looks good even with a hair gap and some overlaps in various places). The unevenness is not that noticeable. Check out my customer pictures to see how it looked with all four leaves. I've been able to take the sheets off and on a few times over the course of a few weeks and they're still sticky (although I've read that they get stiff after a few weeks, so I'm not planning on moving them again). ). I tried the New Leaf design first and it definitely wasn't private enough for this window, but I ended up putting it in the laundry room and it looks great there and it's just the right amount of privacy for this window. Really nice effect. Expensive but totally worth it. As I was looking at the Home Depot exhibit, it seemed less private than it really is. I was positively surprised. I've found that drawing on the back with a pen and then cutting with scissors works better than using a box cutter. I cut out two pieces with a utility knife right after hanging and got a few jagged edges, but it's not visible. There is likely a risk of tearing the film this way. I would recommend measuring, drawing a line on the paper with a pen and then cutting with scissors because it works better than following directions.
