I tried several USB microscopes before buying this one but this will definitely be the last - for good reason. Image quality, ease of setup and use, and build quality (no junk plastic case, etc.) are far superior to other scopes in this price range (and I've tried quite a few, unfortunately). My main purpose for this is to inspect the turntable. Assembling and aligning the cartridge needle. I recently bought a new cartridge and haven't installed it yet, but before that I decided to look at it at gunpoint and found the diamond needle was cracked/deformed and defective. If I installed a pickup and only noticed this problem while listening, I would go to great lengths to claim a warranty on it. This scope practically paid for itself on the first day. Highly recommended and the after sales support (there were questions about the software) is top notch!
