2.0MP Digital USB Microscope Camera - High Definition 🔍 Images/Video - 200x Zoom - 1600 x 1200 HD Resolution Review

This little thing is the best USB camera I've ever tried. It's not a direct replacement for an optical microscope, but it has near-zero latency. Every other USB microscope I've tried had severe lag, making them virtually unusable. The only thing I would like to improve on this camera is the resolution.

We bought the Opti-Tekscope primarily to look at old coins. The image sharpness is excellent! We even looked at some diamonds at full magnification and what you can see is amazing. The software was very easy to install, although after reading other reviews we chose tge VLC media player. Works great and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality scope at a great price.

Really not as good as I thought judging by other reviews. The base isn't heavy enough to support him, and he's constantly moving and losing focus. I find it very difficult to concentrate, if I can at all. I'm not very happy with the product but I think you get what you pay for. I use it to look at coins and I wouldn't recommend it for that. The product was missing a mounting screw so I couldn't use the base but I tested it hand held before deciding to return it. It was plug-n-play on LINUX, but the focal length was too short for my purposes. This camera must be within approximately 3 inches of the object you wish to view. It cannot be set to "infinity" as suggested in the product description. The increase is roughly in line with the announcement. Fit and finish are quite good.

I love this digital USB microscope! It's easy to use and the images come out so sharp! I'm just amazed at how I can see into the deepest nooks and crannies of my stones! AND THE BEST PART! MY NECK DOESN'T FEEL LIKE HAVING A BRAKE like after hours of studying my old microscope! 😃 You can probably say that my old man had a headache! lol! 🤣🤣 I just plug this into my laptop and it's done! I highly recommend it!

This works better than I expected. I didn't use the software that came with it, I just plugged it into a USB port on my Windows 10 computer and launched the camera app that came with the computer. I am very impressed with the image quality. It's very easy to focus. It's a little awkward to bend the gooseneck into the right position. But once it's installed, it's good. This little camera works very well. I wanted a chamber for soldering SMD components - too small for my eyes these days. I've bought one before and found it very good. I've found setting AmCap (use the version on disk) to MJPEG and 1600x1200 at 30fps works very well, it has a nice good image and the white LED ring helps a lot with some images.
