Good value skates with solid construction

I have ordered skates from another brand, you know the ones that starts with M but they have been in the order for 6 months or more and I wanted to skate now so I took her. I needed dance skates as all my other pairs were derby/speed skates. The skin is initially DIFFICULT. I literally rubbed baby oil and body butter on the inside for days to keep my skin soft. Yes, they are real leather, lined with it, but there is neither softness nor softness in these skates. The plate is solid and although it's nylon it's quite strong and stiff. I updated the pads/hubs and put in a new toe post and rode it all summer. And the skin was completely cracked and forming on my foot after a few good sessions. Now that my special order skates are arriving, I leave them in the car so I can get out and skate whenever I see a good spot. They make a good second pair or spare set of skates. Maybe you want an inexpensive park installation? That fits the bill! They are also a bit large, I am a 9 or 9.5 wide lady and ordered them a size 7 and they fit like a dream (after being stretched). So order 2 full sizes if you're a lady (men's sizing) and use some sort of suede conditioner to make them wear out quicker. Enjoy!
