This is a good filter but will not work on a '09-'11 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6L. This morning I had a problem with an oil change. This only applies to P71/P7B 2009 and later. Sometime during the 2009 model year, Ford replaced the oil filter adapter to accommodate the updated 09+ P71/P7B oil cooler lines. If you have '09 or newer a stock 4.6 vic oil filter will not fit as the thread area is too large and will simply slide over the adapter threads. I'm not sure why they changed it and I don't see how it could be an advantage since the filter is considerably smaller.
