I can't say enough good things about these shoes and I will be buying more. Regarding the size: I usually wear a US size 11.5 wide or 12 wide (EE) depending on the brand and size 11 in it is perfect for me. Comfort: This is the perfect combination of thick enough profile and grip to be comfortable on medium sized rocks and coarse gravel, but not so much cushioning that it takes away from bottom feel. There is a thin insole that you can take out, but with the insole on, they seemed the most comfortable to me. I have very low volume, deep arched feet and it's fairly easy to get them very secure or loosen them up a bit so they can be put on and taken off. The tongue is quite well padded, which is often not the case with minimalist shoes. I like them better than my five finger Vibram, New Balance Minimalist, Vibram Minimalist and other regular minimalist trail running shoes. Style: The pattern on the top and fingers is thin enough not to draw attention to minimalism when wearing outdoors. I bought these to use as work and project shoes around the house but when I wore them to other people or to go shopping I got a few compliments and questions about them but mostly they just went unnoticed which is why I got them sluggish .
