I use my road bike on my Wahoo trainer and need a solution to mount my phone on my bike. I wanted to use the Zwift Companion App (iOS App) to control the Zwift Virtual Learning App from my phone during the workout. My bike already has a Garmin mount for my Garmin Edge 830. My phone is an iPhone 11 Pro Max. After reading reviews about the KOM adapter I decided to buy a new iPhone case with a plastic back panel , so that the 3M adhesive sticks properly. I bought a Humixx shockproof case (polycarbonate back). Before installing the PTO adapter on the housing I made sure there was enough clearance (ie from the handlebars) to rotate the phone 90 degrees when mounted on the Garmin mount. I figured it was best to mount the adapter about 0.75" below the center of the case to make room. I cleaned the back of the case with the alcohol wipe that came with the KOM adapter. I let the case dry then attached the adapter I waited twelve hours before attaching my phone to the Garmin mount (time for the glue to set) I now use a phone case with a PTO adapter to hold my Securely mount phone to my bike.I am very happy with the decision.If you select the correct case, measure the play and attach as directed, the KOM adapter should work for you too.
