We were surprised by the metal clips that secure the lid. Disappointed with the seal, I didn't understand how easy it is to hold/place it properly between the lid and the jar. Probably too old school for me. What if you lose the metal clip? It's too hard to reliably use for leavening or throw away. I rolled my eyes and chose a washed-out peanut butter jar instead!
