I had high hopes for these disposable/palm leaf round plates, but I may have a different definition of "fancy". I'll start with the positives: they're durable, disposable, convenient, perfect for fun (theoretically) and for eating, and big too. Cons: Some of the sheets used are terribly ugly. Since they are made from palm leaves, I wasn't expecting perfect uniformity. However, I wasn't prepared to get so much that it just looked awful. Mold (?) or similar appeared on the leaves. I had about 3 out of 10 to use as is but 1 of them broke. As I needed this for an event and didn't want to look elsewhere I simply cut off a piece of parchment to cover the bottom of the plate. It worked great for what I needed it for. Overall I wouldn't buy them again unless I was willing to cover the plates with parchment.
