I have decided to use it with my semi-permanent gaming laptop. I wanted to see if a standalone Wi-Fi device would improve performance, latency, etc. This device really surprised me how bad it is because I've tested many different wireless cards and I don't usually run into these issues. In general, this block is based on Realtek Wi-Fi chips (at least it seemed so in my model from the driver). However, this device gets very hot during operation and begins to overheat and drop connections. Large downloads are impossible, even because they drop off quickly with a constant load of 300 Mbit / s. really very discouraging considering the size of this device. What is worse; The range is actually worse than the range of the Wi-Fi card in my laptop. I even tried a different set of drivers to see if the drivers automatically installed by Windows are bad; but it's not the driver's fault. The device itself has only problems. In general, just avoid it; it cannot perform the function for which it was created.
