I bought this unit to use as my main streaming box. Gather everything together in one place. The first thing that struck me as interesting was trying to download new applications to the device. You can't tell which app you want to download and when you think you've selected an app and want to install it, all you see is a larger version of the app logo...why not for me at all The next thing is that it's slow When you finally download your app or try to use one of the built-in apps, they will be slower! To the point where you think your device is stuck... oh... and... good luck entering your app user ID and password. This has proven to be a hassle and in some cases you can't even select an option in your app to even try it. ("Youtube tv” and some games….) Some apps will ask you to turn on the network when you have connected it. which is strange. It took about an hour to add a Wi-Fi network... I selected a Wi-Fi network, entered a passphrase and waited 3-5 minutes for the device to tell me it wasn't the network I just selected Can be found. Rebooted, reset, and asked questions on multiple help pages... even emailed tech support. So... that's weird. After the 6th or 7th try after restarting the block it found the network. It seems this block lives in the hope that people won't give it back...
