Review on 🚙 CURT 13392 Class 3 Trailer Hitch for Jeep Wrangler JL | 2-Inch Receiver, Black by Wilbert Luoma

Installed today. It took a little longer than I expected but it fits and will do the job. The instructions recommend lowering the muffler to install the hitch. I wasn't happy to see this AFTER I bought the hitch but I was able to install it without moving the muffler. Also, the instructions recommended using a grinder to enlarge the original holes, but my car (Jeep Wrangler 2019) didn't need it. The photos in my copy of the instructions were a bit dark and black and white, so some of these photos were a waste of my time. The main difficulty with the installation was the primer on the frame member, which made it difficult to attach the hitch. It fits, but at first I had my doubts. Torque rating for new bolts is 110 ft/lbs. Good luck with that unless you're willing to remove the muffler or rear bumper. I gave him a good SWAG with a failsafe hammer on my socket and vowed to double check the bolts in the future. The bracket and two screws must be removed before the tow hitch can be installed. The bracket is not used with the new clutch. The trailer hitch is well made and powder coated. Looks very nice and I would buy it again.
