I burned myself buying non-branded items so I went for a Canon branded battery grip even though it was a bit more expensive than fakes. What I liked about it: it fits well and looks good on my t5i. It includes a battery door so you don't lose it, has a small support for larger hands and comes with 2 holders: one holds up to 2 rechargeable camera batteries; the other holds 6 standard AA batteries (which helps in an emergency), makes portrait mode photography easy with handy standard controls (controls can be turned off if desired to avoid accidental bumps), the camera looks a little more powerful than it is. really is. What I didn't like about it: the cost is higher than it should be, it slightly increases the weight of the installation, the device stopped powering the camera after about 4 months. Overall: It was helpful while it lasted, but I'm disappointed with how quickly it stopped working. I don't even feel like I've used it that much and I try to take care of my gear to maximize its lifespan. I advise caution when purchasing this item. Revain tells me I'm sending it back too late for the warranty, so I plan on taking it apart and trying to figure out what caused it to stop working.
