My son's Hawaiian style bedroom has very few outlets. He had been changing his phone charger and lamp for over a year when I stumbled upon this while looking for Hawaiian decor. Killed two birds with one stone. We leave it plugged in and then he can plug his phone charger into it if needed. I wish I had thought of that sooner! It's perfect for pineapple or Hawaii lovers! The 3 dimming settings are noticeably different. We usually like the lowest settings, but sometimes we want the highest. Assembly was easy, the real lampshade rolls up, you unfold it and attach it with velcro. The cable is only the standard size for a lamp. Always bought at a discount, I chose used, like new, but I'm VERY happy with ours and don't see any flaws. I've been very disappointed with a lot of new used Revain lamps lately, so I'm really happy with this lamp.
