Works perfectly just like the original part except it's now clean and smooth and works even better as the old one got rough and didn't slide smoothly which reduced battery life according to Roomba- staff over. It is worth replacing this part. The staff also informed me that dirty brushes also limit battery life. So I bought new brushes and actually a new battery as mine was at least 10 years old and everything is working like new again.
