I thought this set was so cute and snuggly. My ferret loved it and I loved watching his head pop out as I went downstairs. This week he has been behaving differently from himself. Yesterday I noticed that he seemed very lethargic and was not touching food. I made an appointment with the vet. He barely woke up this morning and I took him to the vet a few hours before the scheduled time. He was severely dehydrated and the X-ray showed a large piece of tissue in his intestines! I found a huge hole in the top of this set (the one with the white balls) and after surgically removing it from his abdomen the vet confirmed it was a large piece of felt/wool material! We have had ferrets in our family and we have never experienced this, so obviously our little one is chewing. The next morning after we brought our baby home I found him dead in a cage! Today I will collect his ashes. I am writing this review as a warning to others. Ferrets are curious and bored, they instinctively climb into everything! I still can't believe he left because an item was sold as a ferret accessory! NOT WORTH THE RISK!
