I was looking for Wamsutta sheets when I found them and to be honest they seem to be made by the same company in India. They have the same elastic around the entire perimeter of the sheet, which keeps the sheet on the bed well. In addition, they have elasticated handles on the corners to keep the sheet in place while you move about in bed at night. When they arrived they had a strange smell and the sheets were very satiny almost smooth to the touch. After washing, the smell was gone and the sheets looked more like expensive cotton. They are very soft and comfortable and should last for a while as the sheets are a good weight and thicker than other cotton sheets I've bought. Very happy and bought a set of "queen size"!
