It does what it says on the tin. Up to five 3.5" drives in three 5.25" drive bays. Add your own 120mm fan and drives stay nice and cool. The plastic slot adapters fit the drive's outer mounting holes, so they should work with newer drives like the 8TB drive that don't have center mounting holes. However, they are made of hard plastic, so when you push to release the clamps and remove the drive from the case, the plastic always seems to break before the drive is released. A few things to note: Discs are rear loaded. If you don't have enough space behind the drive bays, you will likely need to remove the entire assembly from the case to add or remove drives. That's the full width of a 5.25-inch drive. So if your case has tabs to hold the drives in place, you'll need to remove them to make them fit.
