I wish the wires were longer, the wires are so short I basically had to cut all the wires to add an extension to them so they would reach my lighting around connect everything else to make it work. It is always better to be a little longer so that it can be hidden or clipped. People buy kits so they don't have to buy an extra wire and I bought this for a Saturn Ion and it's a compact car to hook up fog lights and those wire kits are too short to do anything without adding more wires cut and paste. This is fine for people who have extra cables, but not for people who want a set with a decent length of cables and no extra cables.
