Hold on to your sponge.
This holder works great. I moistened the suction cup a little and then pressed firmly in the center for about five seconds and it held. I've attached it to my metal sink since I bought it and it's still holding up. Remember that the sponge needs to be 1 inch or less for the holder to work well. If the sponge slides in and out very easily, the suction power is constant. Do not touch the holder with your hands. This holder helps the sponge dry faster. I say buy.
