I had my eye on this portable speaker a few years ago, but the price was too high back then. I'm the DJ for my wife's Mary Kay Business Group. One of the activities is a beach vacation. For the beach section I needed a portable speaker system so the band could hear who was talking. I used a wired microphone, which worked fine for now. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Bluetooth function worked, allowing me to wirelessly connect my iPod to the speaker to listen to music! To be truly wireless during my retreat next year, I'm looking for a portable wireless microphone. When I tested the battery, it lasted at least 2.5 hours, beating my playlist. This system is very suitable for the beach and very light! My only suggestion at the moment is to make the power cord longer please? Thanks very much!
