I've read over and over on subreddits about bikes being essential for cold-weather commuting, and now I totally understand why. I put off buying a set because the famous branded version is very expensive so I'm glad I found it. I did my first trip with them this morning. The weather wasn't very cold, it was 50F but it was raining. I put on my lightest pair of gloves, which aren't waterproof, and my hands felt very comfortable, although a bit damp. Now I'm looking forward to colder weather to see how much they help. Most of the time I have to choose between cold hands and so many gloves that I can hardly move my fingers. I have a feeling these bar gloves will solve that problem.
