Sharp! - cut through oak very well.

Out of the package the edges looked precise and smoothly ground. I needed to ream a piece of oak hand rail and purchased this brand because the hex shank would work better with an bit extension. It cut through the oak very nicely - much better than the new Bosch bit.

I''ve used this bit numerous times now, and so far it''s holding up real well. I''ve used hard and soft woods and it cuts right through either of them. Have used other brands of the same size, but neither have kept its sharpness like this one. Will buy same brand as need be.
