The body is strong and endures. It looks like it would survive in the cargo hold of an airplane if that's what you're going to use it for. The DIY use leaves a lot of room for improvement. It barely fits in an Epson projector, a power cord and a couple of HDMI cables. I think a fabric briefcase with a homemade lining will do the job and offer more flexibility.
