This set is ideal for beginners. There are many colors to work with and many accessories to complete your projects. It will be interesting to experiment with what I like to do the most. I was very pleased with the clay sculpting tools including the roller that came with the kit. They are plastic but durable. Again, this would be a good start to learn what I enjoy working with the most. At this point I would probably invest in better tools if needed. The colors of the clay were deep pink and purple, but that suits me. And I got the impression that you can make almost any color of clay by combining different colors of clay and this set has many different colors to be able to do that.
