As I'm from South Louisiana and have had a manual coffee grinder since the 70's, my son gave me this coffee grinder for my birthday. The first thing to check was the preparation of the boudin and it worked perfectly. Next, make your own sausage. I made it with a hand mill, but it turned out to be too much. We've always used ground pork for meatloaf and meatballs. The grinder chuck we recently bought wasn't that good, so I'm looking forward to sharpening my own. This coffee grinder is very easy to assemble, use and clean.
