Review on SUNLITE SL 26 Sealed Bottom Bracket by Pushkraj Love

I fitted this cartridge to my 80's Gary Fisher mountain bike with a 73 x 127mm bottom bracket. The right side screwed in perfectly, but the left sleeve was very tight and became more difficult to screw in. In the end, the thread stuck out about 2mm more than it protruded from the locking ring, which I reused. Note that this cartridge uses "new" slotted cups, so you will need a slotted tool to install it. The completed installation resulted in a smooth connecting rod with no friction and no play. The instructions are clear and they even say you may want to "sharpen" (rethread) the threads for easy installation. Good advice, but why was my old mug so easy to unscrew and new one so hard to screw in? Overall very happy with the quality for the price.
