Need a full refund for Transmission Components

I paid $16.18 for an item. I should have received a $16.18 refund. They only gave me $12.48. I want an additional refund of $3.70. UPDATE: I received an additional refund. Moved from 1 star to 4 stars.

The perfect upgrade for Walmart Bike!

Metal cup, chromoly spindle. Good quality. Direct competitor to Shimano UN26. I probably would have bought the Shimano UN55 for $5 more but they didn't stock it. As another reviewer noted, this is perfect for my Walmart Bike Schwinn Boundary as the original failed. The original bottom bracket was 68x127 so I wanted something as a direct replacement and this is perfect for those on a budget.

GREAT replacement for bushings with loose bearings

Considering the 127mm axle is not that common on modern bikes, this is a GREAT solution for an old steel frame with loose ball bearings in the bottom bracket. VERY good quality for everyday use but not for a bike that will be ridden long distances. I have driven mine about 1000 miles and only had to make one adjustment. Highly recommend for that old Univegi, Miyata or even Schwinn that you are running errands.

Just what I need in the Parts & Components section

I bought this 113mm x 73mm bottom bracket to fit the new 2021 GT Aggressor Expert which has a plastic retainer ring and plastic bottom bracket is delivered. This one spins better and has a metal end cap and strut. I bought it because it is 10mm shorter than the stock BB on this bike and the stock BB didn't work with the rear chain link after changing to a single speed crank and chainring. Now, after a simple installation, a great switch. From what I understand GT bikes are pretty terrible, but…

Appears to be of high quality

The packaging sounds like the body and ends are all steel. This went into a steel framed bike so it's good for preventing corrosion between dissimilar metals. Be careful not to twist them as the threads are very thin. Be especially careful on an aluminum frame bike, as the bottom bracket threads will easily gnaw through the threads in the aluminum frame if not seated properly. Go slow and make sure. The initial resistance should be small. Use a torque wrench to finish the job instead of just…

Works but poor quality.

Came new, there are dents on the non-powered side shell. The non-drive bearing has a slightly uneven locus of rotation in a given position of the crank due to the way it connects to the bushing. I added some lube which helped a little. Pedaling is fine and after a few hours of riding it's pretty smooth. There is no game, no game. Nothing compares to the quality of even a cheap $15 Shimano mount, 26 or 55 better. No rubber grommets or anything to keep dirt out, it's basically open like all…

Great value, good quality bottom bracket

I fitted this cartridge to my 80's Gary Fisher mountain bike with a 73 x 127mm bottom bracket. The right side screwed in perfectly, but the left sleeve was very tight and became more difficult to screw in. In the end, the thread stuck out about 2mm more than it protruded from the locking ring, which I reused. Note that this cartridge uses "new" slotted cups, so you will need a slotted tool to install it. The completed installation resulted in a smooth connecting rod with no friction and no…
