Review on πŸ’‘ HUION LA3 Portable USB LED Tracing Light Box with Adjustable Brightness - Ideal Tattoo Light Pad for Dimmable Illumination by George Kapoor

Not worth the money!

When I received my Huion LA3 light mat, I was very surprised that the box was unpacked. I picked it up off my porch and saw that the box was damaged. I nervously opened the box and prayed the lightbar wouldn't break, luckily everything was fine. I started taking out different parts and eventually connected them. The USB connector was very difficult to plug into the side of the lightbar, I saw the connector moving things in the lightbar and was afraid I would break it. But when I got it, I turned it on and was glad it worked. I left the plug in the light bar for fear of damaging it by unplugging it. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed that I paid over $75 for what I thought was one of the most popular light pads on the market today, but what I got and how I got it wasn't worth and close what I paid for it. My first light mat was the Voilamart A3, I paid $50 for it, it came boxed and included a travel case. I really liked it until the cable broke on the side. I want to buy something else.

Pros
  • eye protection technology. Reduce eye strain with protective film and eye protection LED lamp. The brightness can reach up to 770cd/mΒ², which is much higher than any USB powered A3 light box that can be traced through thick watercolor paper.
Cons
  • Socket required
