Review on Top-Quality KERMAN Center Console 🔒 Latch for Mazda CX-5 (2013-2016) KA0G-64-45YA-02 by Brian Stepp

My 2016 Mazda CX-5 center console latch broke. I watched a video on youtube and saw that the latch can be replaced without taking it to the dealer. Ordered this part and installed it with no problems. Looking at other reviews it seems that this is the part that breaks easily. If you see the size of the plastic latch that attaches to the console, you can understand why it breaks. I highly recommend Mazda to redesign this latch or use stronger/larger material. I have a Subaru Outback with a center console and a much better locking system. The CX-5 is well made and you hate to see small areas like this that don't live up to the very positive aspects of the car.
