Review on 🔩 Complete No-Mortise Bed Rail Fittings by Andy Edwards

I was hesitant about giving this item 3 or 4 stars. It's a really solid build and I love how the pieces fit together, especially having worked on furniture myself in the past. My main issue I had with this product was that it couldn't be easily installed as is. As others have noted there is an issue with two pieces sliding due to the screw head and the way it sticks out. My set didn't sit together even though the screw heads were dead. Well, some will and some won't. I used a drill to widen the holes so the screw head would go further in. While I was at it, I gave him enough countersink to put in a longer, stronger screw. The screws that came with it are too small in my opinion. You can hold the pieces, but in my experience they will fall apart over time. I like that the furniture I make lasts a long time. I really don't like it when the bolts come loose and the tree gets demolished because of it. The concept is great - very solid and I recommend this stylish mount. Just adjust the countersink and screw size. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because I didn't have to do as much customization myself. This should be done by the manufacturer.
