It's ridiculous that it costs $40 instead of something sensible like $20. But at the same time, if you do a lot of reading and annotating on your iPad on the couch or in the recliner, this is an absolute must. Precisely because there is nothing comparable. it is 100% worth $40. It does exactly what it was designed to do, in every way. I have just one request! That means it has a small notch or notch at the top to hold the Apple Pencil so it doesn't roll away. I use this to annotate tons of academic PDFs, and when I put it aside to stand up, there's no good place to put my pencil where it can't roll away. UPDATE: Another thing that bothers me more and more. Time - disgusting "Prop 'n GO" logo on top/back. To be honest it makes the thing look more like a 6 year old toy than something for adults. After all, Apple products are tasteful and elegant, why not? SO: I used some thinner (Goo Gone, but paint thinner would work too) and found the paint rubbed off right away. The logo is still embossed on the plastic, but it's all black so you hardly notice it. Now it finally looks professional and not a Fisher Price toy.
